Dear all - welcome back to the blog! On the 9th July 8 intrepid students from the school will be travelling to Kampala in Uganda to work in Bright Future School. The students have raised the money to fund their travels through sheer hard work. In addition the staff and students of Stoke Park have been generous in their donations towards the school - we are taking across a number of books to build up the library we set up last year and fancy dress costumes. We are going to be working on developing the reading and speaking skills of the students through drama as well as taking time to organise some sporting events.
Next week the students will be working at Good Shepherd Primary School - experiencing working with small children on a variety of activities.
Throughout our stay in Uganda we will be blogging about our experiences and adventures.
